Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These terms govern use of GameInDev, a game-development planning and collaboration service operated by Aurora Byte Games. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a studio or team, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation.
1. The service
GameInDev is currently a beta service for roadmaps, game-design information, visual graphs, collaboration, optional public project pages and an optional project assistant. Beta features may change as we improve the product. We aim to give reasonable notice of planned maintenance through in-app service notices.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, verify your email and keep your credentials secure. Do not share an account between people. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You must be at least 16 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it to enter these terms.
3. Beta access and future plans
The open beta is currently offered without a payment card. Displayed plan names or future prices are informational until paid checkout is activated. We will present the price, billing terms and any updated terms before charging you. We will not start a paid subscription without an explicit purchase.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or upload content you are not entitled to use;
- harass others, distribute malware, probe accounts or systems, bypass access controls, or interfere with availability;
- automate abusive registrations, scrape private data, resell access without permission, or use the service to train a competing model or dataset from other users' content.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide licence to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and to publish pages you explicitly mark public. You confirm that you have the rights and team authority needed for content you add. Private projects remain private unless an authorised member publishes a public page.
6. Loke and external services
Loke is optional and uses the OpenAI or Anthropic account configured by you or your project. Relevant prompts and project context are sent to that provider when you invoke it. You are responsible for following the provider's terms and for reviewing AI output before relying on it. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, and Loke should support rather than replace your creative, security, legal or production judgement.
7. Availability, exports and backups
We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free beta availability. Keep independent copies of business-critical material. You can download a machine-readable account and project export from your profile. We maintain rolling recovery backups, but they are not a substitute for your own exports and may not restore an individual edit.
8. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the service and delete your account from your profile. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, legal requirements or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow time to export data before permanent closure.
9. Liability
The beta is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aurora Byte Games is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits or lost opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the beta develops. Material changes will be announced in the service or by email when appropriate, and a new acceptance may be required. Swedish law applies to these terms, without limiting mandatory protections available to consumers under the law where they live.
